Would anyone else like to be able to get skins for some of these weapons the Aetherblades are using? I can only speak for myself, but I’d really like to be able to get a rapier and a set of those steampunk-revolver-looking pistols.

Same here. Was really looking forward to getting a bunch of the rapier skins and the revolver skins. Possible a shield, and maybe the hammer/scythe thing. I really hope its an oversight and we can get them in game. Otherwise it’ll be the ebon vanguard skins all over from GW1.

I to was hoping to see pistol, rifle and sword skins with this update, but was rather bothered with the lack of. I mean whats with other updates getting skins and yet the one update that would benefit most from it gets totally overlooked.

They put armor skin in this update. Maybe weapon skins will come later. The good news is that the armor skins are not RNG so you can get them without grind/farming.
