Thanks ArenaNet
100 views and no replies? Come on folks, though this event certainly isn’t without a few flaws most of it is quite enjoyable.
Surely I’m not the only one who feels this way.
Already thanked Anet when dragon bash started but again thanks for bringing us content over and over.

I’ve enjoyed the Dragon Bash very much so far.
I am having fun. thumbs up
I don’t care that all these people are being greedy and complaining about bugs or how they don’t like the way things look or run for Dragon Bash. This was an amazing event you guys created and I’m glad you guys put some thought into your fans and made a festival. Along with school being out for summer you guys added in a summer time event for us to enjoy while we sit back and relax. It’s very kind and thoughtful and unlike the greedy people that are in it just for the gold, I’m glad you guys made it and I’m enjoying Dragon Bash to it’s full extent. Thank you ANET!
me still amazed everytime i enter LA or HotM. loooove the decorations and even for that alone, this event’s been awesome for me.
ton of new skins, new things to do, and looking forward to seeing how the story turns out.
ANet is still learning bit by bit and hopefully with each event, they take way more than we could imagine and apply that to making the next event and years to come even better.

I’m enjoying Dragon Bash too. Complainers gotta complain (and by now I think we’ve gotten complaints about just about EVERYTHING in the game), but this event is fun, especially because I was pretty inactive from October-December and missed the first Halloween and Wintersday, didn’t finish Flame and Frost and missed most of the Southsun things so this is actually the first special event I’ve really participated in.
Thanks Obama.

I love the events! Yeah, each could be improved upon, as with everything, but how fresh is it to always have something new going on in-game. I agree with everything the OP posted and wanted to add that, by and large, the Living Story’s have been really good, in my opinion. I loved Southsun and really got the feeling of being on a resort island that is under siege. Flame and Frost was a lot of fun. The holiday events are always something to look forward to and, like going to a fair or carnival, I stay until I’ve done everything there is to do and it’s time to go home and sadly, back to reality. Keep up the awesome work, Anet! Easily the best online game I’ve played.
I appreciate the effort Anet has gone to. Thanks guys!
I’m glad part of the storyline is to be in Divinity, much underused City and far better looking than LA. Enjoying Dragon Bash, altogether had hoped Moa Racing would have been playable….Sucks compared to Bettle Racing in GW1.
I’m happy to see a positive bit of a counterweight versus all these people who complain about every nook and cranny.
Yes, some aspects of the events they create can be improved upon. After all, nobody and nothing is perfect. But a lot of what they do does supply us with a lot of fun and interesting things to do and we should be a bit more appreciative in my view of what GW2 delivers.
Don’t forget that SAB part 2 is right around the corner most likely
Thank you for making jade tickets available outside the gem store.
You guys are enabler, if the content sucks and you praise even one thing, they won’t improve.
Awesome content so far.
Having a lot of fun with today’s events.
I also have to give a thumbs up. OP is spot on.
I agree. I really feel sorry for Anet for everyone complaining about tickets and whatnot. I myself like this living story a lot more than southsun. I especially love the whole investigating thing with this. In all honesty I’m getting sick of stuff where you just kill kill and kill enemies to make the story go on. Hopefully more “non-violent” content on it’s way.
I know you guys at ANET get a lot of flak from the community for a lot of things but I would just like to make it known that at least one player (this one, presumably more too) is loving the dragon bash content. The effigies have given a great reason to go about exploring the world you guys have created, the dragon ball activity is imo at least the best one yet. Then there is the instanced and related content which I’m always interested in especially if its this good.
The only thing that would make it better is having a themed jumping puzzle like the mad kings clocktower or whatever the wintersday one was called.
Thanks for all the hardwork, hope to see the same quality in the future
i think the wings from vendor (and the consumables) are just there as a zhaitaffy sink… so we dont end up with another candy corn situation
80 warr [Blaze Steelsoul], 80 ele [Blaze Nightstrike], 80 mesmer [Grim Shatterwhirl]
80 guard [Dusk Grimlight], 80 engi [Flintgear]
@Linguistically Inept: No doubt about that.
Also would like to say I utterly love the style of the storyline cutscene that was unveiled during yesterday’s part of the story trying to track down evidence.
Marjory is now officially my favourite character in the world of Tyria as she’s properly voiced, has a strong personality and feels like she’s got a lot of history behind her.
I will not thank anet for the pointless time wasting achievements and lame mini game they implemented into this event while totally ignoring what many players of this game really want, permanent content. i personally love the idea of a living story and monthly updates to the story line but without any permanent content it feels lackluster. i will thank them for new armor styles and a new interesting story line to sink our teeth into. granted it is only temporary. many players i have talked to (myself included) feel that anet really focuses on the casual players and gives them things to do in the game that require a lot of time with very little effort or skill, this could be good for them but it gives players that are much more hardcore nothing to do but waste time in game on things they dont need to be doing. i say this from the standpoint of a relatively hardcore player that because he loves the game so much, forces himself to log on and do something even when theres nothing to do.
There are so many nasty and sarcastic players on these forums it’s nice to see a few decent people chiming in.
While the content in Dragon Bash won’t set the world on fire (sorry ) I am really enjoying it. I’ve been doing world completion on my main so it’s been awesome to have a few extra things to do.
I do think players are becoming increasingly ungrateful for what we have these days in terms of gaming, like the world owes them X Y and Z. When I started playing games RPGs were flashing text on a screen. These days we have so so much to enjoy.
At the end of the day content is there and it’s upto players to decide whether to play it or not, I don’t get why so many people get so angry about it.
Thankyou ArenaNet for giving us the most beautiful MMO ever that does innovate, even if its not exactly what people were expecting. This is year one, I can’t wait to see where it goes next.
