the dragon ball and the 8 achievement thing they announced

The Dragon Ball has been confirmed as not counting.

The 8 achievement seems to be bugged though, but should be solvable by simply doing 10 achievement instead of just 8. So it is not like you are locked out of them.

Dragonball doesn’t count.

I don’t mind doing 10 since I ’v already have 9, but I hate the fact that they take so long to fix some simple stuff

It has not even been a day since they changed the achievement count though. It is quite likely that it will be patched today together with the next part of the story.

Dragon Bash is confirmed to not count. They took the eaisest fix on it. Not fixing it. xD

You need to finish 2 story quest + the effingies burn. But the effingies seems to be a long kitten and money invest as you have to travle a lot between zones to find the few effingy to burn them

If you guest to 2 other servers each time you get to an effigy, you can do 9 per area instead of 3. Each effigy is at the same spot in each sever. This saves a lot of waypointing costs and traveling time.

We know dragon ball doesnt count now, I wish it was mad clear and fixed BEFORE i wasted time doing them. I did not like DragonBall at all. Just an endless stream of afkers. I only did it for the wings. The game without grind is now tricking me into unnecessary grinding. Bravo.

The fact that we had to grind the wings is fine, even though dancing like a monkey in front of an effigy is degrading as all holy hell. But I should have had those wings Yesterday, dragon ball or not. They keep saying they wont make promises cause if something goes wrong we’ll crucify them.

Sadly this doesnt extend to the information given by their own UIs?

I dont want much, but When I start working on achievements, I dont want them altered AFTER ive done them. Changing the rules or at least the percieved rules isnt cool.

And without trying to be mean to the people who work at anet, whoever does your bug testing has been consistently lacklustre, and at the very least needs a talking to over coffee.
