Why no leaver punish (Dragon ball/sPvP/...)?
because punishing people for leaving misses the point.
Why do they want to leave…..thats the issue that needs addressing.
There should be punishment for leavers. Right now if your team gets behind with something like 6 points some playes will leave so you’re even more in disadvantage. And new players will just enter and leave becasue they are in teh losing team.
A 30 minutes block from joining any dragon ball game would be great.

For example Dota 2 would be a mess without leaver punish.

Yes and thats the problem. Maybe implement another queue for serious players if you want to have an unfair zergfest with people jumping in and out.
they shouldnt have made the dragon ball part of the achievements.
ppl want 20 wins for the achievement – why stay when its a certain loss and waste time when you can leave and restart. thats how they think and thats how I would think. I havent actually played yet due to hearing about the bug yesterday and didnt have time to try today.
Like another posted above, the issue of ‘why’ to leave should be addressed.
The reward system is a tad skewed and skimpy. Aside from the achievement, there is no reason to stay behind if your match turns sour for you. A little enticement can go a long way (coffers).
I myself would stay knowing I can still get some coffers if I’m losing terribly. Why not?
Like others have indicated, they need to fix the game before penalising players for Anets mess.
I entered Quak…I mean Dragonball only to end up with what you see in the picture upon entering.
I left, there was no way in hell I was putting up with that & I definitely shouldn`t be screwed over for their errors.
Enough to say that I may give it one more attempt tomorrow & if same result, feckital.

don’t have issues with leavers, however the AFKers, my god….
Problem is… I just noticed it now. If you are akitten it ports you into the match instead of letting you stay at the waypoint. That’s stupid… I mean even more helping the team. ArenaNet did not think there… and thought if they ported them into the match they’d start playing… but how if they are really afk?
I myself go akitten now sometimes if we are losing and it is already like 200 – 20. Boring and no reason to try…
Or just leaving and trying to join into another match.
Still need 1 or 2 more wins…
with about 50 percent win ratio you need 40 matches to get both achievements.
I’d rather have someone leave and open up a spot for someone else to come in and play than have 3 people who just want the 20 fights achievement ASAP and just stand there doing nothing on my team taking up team spots and giving the opposing team free kills while simultaneously making it a 2 vs 5 match for the people who are actually trying to play the game.
How about this, group players into categories, depending on how often they leave games. Then try to put them together with people from their own group. So if you dont leave and play to the end, you will be placed with people who also play to the end. If you leave, you will be placed with people who also tend to leave. This will encourage you to not leave, in order to stay in the matches that actually work as intended. There could be a group for AFKers as well.
