On my server, there is only one Effigy in Gendarran. And that is the only Effigy up. None anywhere else I checked.

Well, it would be nice if they specify this. The patch notes just say you dance in front of them to get health increase. They say nothing about them being the same ones you burn, or even if you burn them at all.
By the way…the ones for health increase are in explorable areas leading into Lion’s Arch according to the patch notes. So, what is it? World zones…or somewhere in LA? I’m just so confused by this.

3 efigies per map normally, and 50 in total. I think they finally lost it at Anet… you get nothing for burning them and 50 is a totally useless, unfun grind.
80’s: Engineer/Warrior/Necromancer/Mesmer/Thief/Elementalist/Guardian [Seafarer’s Rest]
There are 3 effigies in 10 different zones each, allowing for 30 per character as of right now. They are in Caledon Forest, Metrica Province, Brisban Wildlands, Kessex Hills, Gendarran Fields, Snowden Drifts, Wayfarer Foothills, Diessa Plateau, and Plains of Ashford.
EDIT: Just tested, guesting resets the effigies meaning you can get it on one character.

I don’t really understand the confusion. There are 26 explorable areas…zones…maps…whatever you want to call them. They’re called Gendarran Fields, Bloodtide Coast, Kessex Hills, Lornar’s Pass, etc. It says the effigies are out in those zones.
I’m sorry, but I don’t see the confusion. Maybe I’m missing something.
