Ove 2 accounts I have gotten more tickets than it seems possible considering the odds. The thing is, I don’t want any of them. Please allow me to sell them to people that want them, or even just allow me to gift them to other people. As it is now they are taking up space.

I understand that by allowing this you will cut down on rich coffers selling, so maybe limit it to one ticket transferred (either by selling, or gift) per account. I support anet by buying things like character slots/cosmetics not chests. I understand the anger some people have. Maybe it would help if they can see that the item is available for X many gems (in the form of gold).

This isn’t meant to be a selfish post. I have the tickets, and I don’t want them. It seems others who have gotten multiple don’t want them either. Yet there are plenty of people who do want them but we can’t even give them away.

Well I don’t know about the tickets being trade-able or gift-able, but there should be an option to trade the tickets for gold or materials at the vendor instead.

Would be nice if you could gift them ^-^
I have a couple of guildies and very close friends who never get tickets from any of the events after doing hours of hours of hours of farming. (Horrid luck on their part)

Probably a simple system like:
Adding a Universal Ticket Voucher to the Vendor
-Requires 1 ticket and 200 karma to buy
-Ticket can NOT be sold on the trading post
-Can Only be transferred via mail or guild deposit

Doing it this way will still require people to RNG and buy into the system like everyone else; however, you still have an option to help the people you care for ^-^

Could probably put a limit on purchases to something like 5 per account if you really want to be a Scrooge Mc.Duck

Yeah was about to make a post that this RNG system gives tickets to those who don’t want them, and punishes those who really want them and even pay real money xD

Agreed. I don’t mind working hard to get something I want. I do mind crossing my fingers for a month and still not getting a single ticket. I can sell the candy so people can get their wings, why can’t they sell tickets so people can get the weapon skins?

The only problem I can see with allowing them to be sold or gifted is Bots will be out in force big time

I got a ticket off a random coffer drop tonight and even though I like the skins I didn’t really think it matched any of my characters, especially not my main. So I ended up just picking out a dagger for my necro I sometimes play and know I won’t delete.

I would of much rather gave it to someone that really wanted one or sold it straight up.

At least with the overall regular coffer drop rate there is a higher chance for people to get tickets in general then before. So they went one step in the right direction this time.

Definitely support tickets (for all previous Living Story content too) becoming tradable on the TP.

actually you support nc soft by buying gems with real dollars. anet does not get anything from the gem sales. anet only gets what nc soft gives them.

for me, i only want to spend on character slots, bag slots, bank slots, bank upgrades, cosmetics maybe.

and yes it would be nice if we can sell the tickets or give them away.

i dun fancy the dragon weapons myself.

I guess my meaning was that even though I don’t buy the chests I can understand the frustration of those that do. I know people that have put a good bit (by my standards) of cash into them and got nothing. It makes me feel bad for them when I don’t even want the things but have them. I would even buy a ticket transfer token for like 50 gems or something.

I don’t think anyone wanting this is looking to get rich. I imagine they are just like me and have people they care about that want the skins. That’s to Anet, not your post. I hope they consider doing this, I’m going to keep mine collecting dust just in case they do.

I kind of hate you right now. Let’s just say the RNG really doesn’t like me. Back on topic: If they were tradeable that would be fantastic but if nothing else if I’m going to spend actual money they should be guaranteed. Anet may have a gambling problem and I’m not a fan of games of chance.
