I’m sure i heard in stream ascended drop rate was gonna increase slightly in certain areas, is this still true as i don’t think i noticed it in patch notes? unless i missed it while reading.

Livestream notes: “WvW rank up chests will have increased drop rate for Ascended weapons/armor. Also increased drop rate from Guild Mission chests and Tequatl chests.”

I didn´t notice that in english patchnotes either, but in the german version it´s implemented:

Well, it was in there. They seemed to have changed it since they first posted it.

So… my massive hoard of liquid wxp will just sit tight until we get an official word.

Right now having one set of patch notes saying it is true and one set of patch notes not saying anything (after apparently saying it originally)… no confidence.

You mean an actual chance to get something via playing? Not a chance…must’ve been a typo.

Well, if it’s an increased chance from rank up chests, then it may be a good time to bring in a new alt to speed through the intro ranks for more chests. Maybe the account-wide xp not making it into the patch wasn’t so bad afterall….

Drop rates are still going to be too low, so it doesn’t really matter.

I was lucky yesterday.. Got an ascended armor chest out of a WvW rank up chest. HOWEVER it was Magi stats QQ. Which doesn’t bode well for my Rabid Engi, or Sentinel War. Guess i’ll just drown myself in the Sea of Sorrows ;_;

I’ve downed 100 times Tequatl with the old table loot (that means 4×100 bonus chest + 100x beach chest), i got absolutely nothing (one crappy exotic below 1 gold and 11 crappy Tequatl runes).

I’ve downed Tequatl tonight with the new table loot and i got … absolutely nothing (only greens).

All this RNG thing is a shame.

Does the Tequatl thing only apply to the world chest or to the exotic dragon chest as well?
