First of all I LOVE this new map….especially on my fear/CD necro…..but I think a better reward for winning should be implemented. As of right now three zergs just rotate around capping the different spots, which isn’t bad or anything but the lack of a real reward kind of kills the drive to compete. Now I get it, it’s meant to be an overflow/introduction to WvW and I agree it shouldn’t add to the current WvW scores. but its basically just become a new karma train/farming zone. When this first came out I’d have 3-4 groups defending the Altar wall, wiping out entire zergs blowing up bridges, and actually trying to defend what we took. Now everyone just jumps in the karma train, which I guess is the bread and butter of GW2. Regardless I’m gonna keep playing the new map and hopefully we’ll see an actual reason to play this amazing new zone.

The Karma, the Gold, the Badges, the ore, the costumes, the stats, the score they’re all meaningless entries in a database that can be changed with lines of code.

The only thing that means anything is having fun.

They do need to reward defending better than they do. That was my biggest gripe about the WvW season 1: all of the achievements were for taking things, so there was actually incentive to not defend (so you could take the same thing over and over).
