When people are just jumping off cliffs when they are about to get stomped by a zerg.

When they lose a 1v1 they jump off a cliff.

When people are jumping off cliffs close to their own zerg ensuring nobody can res them.

I guess people do it so not everybody can get their lootbag, but still funny though.

I find it kinda sad.

Heck yeah! Robbing some WvW player of their loot is the greatest joy in the game! ;-)

The dreams in which they’re falling are the best they’ve ever had.

And the best part is… In EotM you have repair costs if you jump down a cliff.

Another good part is that even if you jump off a cliff, you spawn a loot bag at the feet of all the enemies who tagged you.

As an ele I vapor form off, sometimes. Why? because I have had enemies follow me off, most likely thinking that I am jumping to a edge to self rez. Which then means if I wp fast enough I get those bags from their death.

• I am talking about the downed vapor form, not mist form. I will always go down fighting even if 50 v 1.*

This is false.

If you’re tagged prior to falling, then there is still repair cost.

Unless you have some conditions keeping you in combat for longer, most of the map (maybe all of it) has a long enough fall that you leave combat and can WP before you hit the bottom.

I do it for two reasons that can be rather conflicting with one another. One, to deny the satisfaction of my enemy getting the death blow. Or two, because I find it amusing in a horrible situation and might as well get some laughs out of it. Not to mention, the lemmings who sometimes blindly jump after you and also fall to their death.
