Yes first it was Human tier 3 with flame effects.
And now its Feathered armor set with flame effects.

Were you expecting a total new skin?

Otherwise, they would have to take down the medium and heavy back when they took the light.

Requested a refund on mine. Don’t like it the slightest.
I hope the “real” flamekissed returns as a cultural armor upgrade.

What did you expect?

It was a cultural tier 3 armor at first, which was wrong in so many ways in the first place.
Only fair to change it to some common armor skin with flame effects.

If they had intended a completely new skin, they would have changed the med and heavy skin as well.

Not sure why people expected anything else. That being said I believe it was stated they will hand out refunds for those who are not satisfied.

I will, it has been confirmed by mods several times that those not satisfied will get a refund, but thanks ^^

I had loved my flamekissed armor and I was using it on human female… This version is an insult by comparison. Congratulations Anet, this is the first game that took back something that I bought in game in this fashion. The new design is simple horrible..

because it was based on a cultural t3 armor skin. it’s unfair to those people who bought the cultural armor with gold, and, what is more, cultural armor is supposed to be exclusive to one race, not open for every race via the gem store.

Stop complaining, request a refund. It’s not like no one has seen this coming!

It was a reskin of tier 3 human cultural, cultural armor being something that is by design meant ONLY for the specific races as a means of providing an extra layer of uniqueness.

This is why it was removed before and now changed, and why it has been known for months that yes, they absolutely are willing to refund it.

Anet feebly tried. I was hoping for even more UGLIER skin. And should cost a minimum of 8000 gems…

You can use transmutation splitters if I recall correctly.

Or send a support ticket and ask that along with your refund.

No worries, however I would suggest only using the splitters if Anet chooses not to do anything for you in regards to restoring your original tier 3 set.

I did not know it is a cultural armor’s replica. Now they ruined my already skin, and made crybabies happy. So, I blame crybabies and have already asked a FULL refund. But, I won’t buy a single gem or something like that ever from now on.

Once again we are back at my original point. Going by your logic, if they decided to change their mind to make you happy, I could turn around and then call you a cry baby. Do you see the flaw yet?

Would it be better if it was the winged set instead of the feathered?

I would have preferred that actually, the winged set is at least not completely symmetrical. Would have felt less lazy than the feathered.

I just generally dislike feathered. What is holding up that garment anyway? Good will?
