What do you guys think of these skins and which is everyone’s favorite?

That’s tough. I mean, I bought 4 pistols, 2 swords, 2 daggers, a hammer, a focus, a shield, and a scepter. I like the pistols, but I think my favorite is the hammer. I bought it, but I actually have no use for it. I just love the look, so if I ever need a hammer, I know what skin to use.

+1 to the hammer. I have one toon with “Cupid” in his name and smacking people with a love hammer is just so much more satisfying than a purty bow.

I don’t like either of them since they are too ‘themed’, but if the shield didn’t have a big heart I would say it’s the best designed one.

I wasn’t impressed with the bows, or greatsword. But the others are just lovely.

Sword. Greatsword. Longbow. Shield. Hammer. In that order.

Well, they will likely go up to cost 5 BLTC tickets, instead of 1 which will cause the skins themselves to become mor pricey on the TP.

See this is the thing, I have spare gold sitting around and am seriously considering investing in some of these skins.

Given their popularity, in my uneducated opinion (I know very little about TP investments) they seem like they are sort of like the zodiac weapons. I think they’re nice looking enough to warrant people buying these months after. Because apart from the shield the theme isn’t all that flashy. I think a lot of folks will want them if they missed out.

But again, my word isn’t gospel or anything.

Shield is the best.

I like the dagger, looks kind of like some sort of cultist ceremonial dagger. I also like the pistol because it looks like a huge magnum. To bad I won’t be getting any of these because they’re expensive on the TP and I don’t play the RNG game.

I adore the sword, because rapier. I also really like the dagger, mace, scepter, torch, axe, and hammer. I’m not fond of the longbow or shortbow and the warhorn is meh. The shield is amazing but the more I look at it the more I think I’d get tired of it over time. The staff is very nice, though the same feel can be gained from the Bloody Prince’s staff.

If my thief didn’t already have a Bonetti’s and two aetherized pistols, he’d be sporting the Lovestruck in no time flat. I don’t want to cover up those skins. I’d be willing to swap out his lionguard dagger and Glimmerfang for the Lovestruck, though his current gameplay doesn’t use daggers.

That’s sort of my problem now with a lot of alts. I’ve found skins that suit them for the weapons they use most. My vari necro would rock the Lovestruck — but she has Warden weapons for a hefty hunk of karma. My human necro has the Dragon Jade staff as an IC family heirloom and some nice Pact items as alternates. My human mesmer has 2 Bonetti’s … maybe she could have a pistol? Though she uses staff as her alternate for PVE, oocly. My vari guardian already has Toy staff, Winter’s Brunt hammer, and for her normal weapons a lionguard scepter and verdant focus, along with a golden sword and Shield of the Moon. My human guardian would get the GS — but he has Cobalt!

On and on and on, I’ve already geared for looks on those where looks matter. So I have to decide and it’s so hard!

The problem with the bows are they look so heavy and clunky. I like the design but not that it was made from a solid block of metal.

Got the sword for my mesmer, love it so far.

I personally love the pistol, but since I don’t even have a single Black Lion Ticket I doubt I’ll get it anytime soon

Not only does it have a grand design, it’s the glowing hearts that give it such a deep layer of kitsch.

Truly, how can one not enjoy rushing into battle with a magnificently tacky leap of faith yelling “I believe in the heart of the sword!”

Greatsword and Shield. But also bought the scepter skin to go with the shield (even though it’s not as noticeable and elegant I feel – couldn’t have a scepter skin that doesn’t match) and the staff skin.

I told myself I wouldn’t be tempted by any new skins – then I bought 4 skins… Lol.

Got a ticket from my lvl10 personal story chest on my new Engi yesterday-

I like the shield. It’s very fairy tale, which doesn’t suit every character, but it’s very cool. I keep expecting the wicked queen’s mirror to show up in that pink glow.
