Guild Wars 2

I thought the purpose of this WvW map was like an Overflow for the main WvW. So people would join a random side and battle it out for 3 hours. Nice, clean and simple.

BUT I have played about 10 games and everytime its on the same side. Is this working as intended? Has anybody else joined different sides?

you means colors? You play as the same color as the real wvw, so if you’re green this week, you’re on the kodan side this week.

Worlds will be matched according to which color they are in the current WvW matchup. For example, all green worlds will be on the same team in the Edge of the Mists.

Its intended, and it really sucks :/.

Part of the reason why ive eagerly waited for like 4 months for edge of the mists… Was because i thought id be able to play with friends, but we cant >__<. Basically, theres a 33% chance that you get on the same color each week.

Or we can ofcourse buy 1800 gems to still play together >_>.
