Yup. It is working as intended. During the split holograph phase, I got knocked far back by the Static Hologram’s blast wave attack, followed by another hit by the AFK cannon near the portal exit a second later, nullifying the chance for the achievement.

Good job implementing the cannons on the platform.

It’s too bad that I already got the “No More Tricks” achievement anyway, but this combo attack is a concern for those that hasn’t got the achievement yet.

The lasers where actually a waste of time. Most of the AFK leechers already got the achievement so what difference does it really make now? They should either remove the achievement from all players, or give it to all players. It is no longer any kind of “achievement” at all.

The lasers make it harder, but not impossible to “leech” the achievement. With a 25% speed boost and teleports like Blink/Lightning Flash, running from side to side at the door still keeps you mostly safe, with dodges for emergencies. (Of course, since this counts as “active play”, I don’t think ANet can really penalise players anymore without them raising a legitimate stink about it.)

In fact, the lasers are more of an annoyance to people fighting the Dynamic holo, since the lasers also target anybody who dodges behind the holo and their AoE effect is pretty large.
