Anybody else having problems getting these even if u have completed the event multiple times without any moa dieing?

Yeah, it doesn’t seem to count all the time. It’s the only one I’m missing other than defend fort and triple threat.

Try doing it in an overflow (in case they haven’t properly fixed it not working in main servers) and make sure you get at least one kill on an event enemy.

It seems with this and Lawson you really have to make sure you kill a veteran or two. And even if you get the exp it might not even be enough to give credit for the event.

Doesn’t help that the npcs just continue to run so its very hard to get credit if you want them to live.

Best I’ve found is just focus on killing the first group so you can get some potential credit. But it took me 5 times to finally get credit. The more people the more you are fighting for some credit it feels.

Best to do most achievements in an overflow as many main servers are still bugged.

You need to get credit for a kill for the achievement to count. Make sure you do a finish of a toxic mob or your party. Then its awarded. Similar with all other escort task.

It was bugged for me yesterday but worked today.

When I tried this, the wurm came up and 1-shot all the Moas. Sad Penguin is sad.

I got to event a few mins early and created lfg group with flag moa. 4 of us got credit, 1 did not, but they got downed so maybe did not have enough contribution. My previous 3 attempts all failed even with gold participation and I am loot stick spammer with multiple kill credit……

If you get downed then you pretty much will not get the achievement since they move so fast. AoE as many mobs as you can to get credit. Being in a group also helps but you still need to tag the mobs.

Done it twice with no credit.

Guildie in group with me got the credit, while I did not.

I’ll try it again tonight! Hopefully it’ll work.

I thought it was the Moa event I was missing but turned out it was the Ogre one. If you didn’t keep track of which events were successful it is a guessing game as to which it was you missed.

One is enough, but it must be a mob that spawned specifically for this event. If it was something that spawned in the area for unrelated reasons, you are out of luck.
You also need to be very close to the event circle the moment it finishes, or you are running a big chance of getting nothing (the same is true of killing mobs – you need to be close to the escort event. If you kill it, but the escort moved past you too far away, you won’t get event credit for it).

Since both Lawson and Moa escorts move so fast, getting all those right can sometimes be hard.
