Anet's obsession with unblockables
What attack are you even talking about? The only attack I can think of in this entire event that seems to be legitimately unblockable is the Spider Queen Cocoon attack. That might be bad timing on dodges, but I suspect it’s more to do with the unique nature of the attack, since it’s an immobilize and a transformation.
Nothing in any of the actual major events was unblockable.

You mean besides every aoe attack the holo does? you can’t exactly be bad at timing aegis, shelter, or shield of wrath

One advantage of the holo attacks not breaking aegis is that the Unscathed Contender trait for Guardians becomes really, really good. It’s like free 20% damage.
