I like the ANet logo in Lion´s Arch. Was it added this update? Or was it there before the attack, if so I didnt notice it.

It’s been there forever, and had a poi in it. It’s a red arena with a net draped over it as a canopy. Minis had little battles inside the arena.

If you explored LA before the attack, you must have just registered finding a poi without looking at it.

It’s been there since the start of the game; used to have a net over it as well. Some believe it was where mini pet battles where going to take place.

Two out of three references to Arenanet were destroyed. Currently there is only the “logo”-fence left. Before there was a point of interest called " Tenanera ’s Pit" (read it backwards) and as Donari pointed out, the place was used as an arena for minipet battles and there hung a net above the arena.

Speaking of mini pet battles, those could REALLY happen.
Talking about implementation, the player already gets transformed intro things everywhere around the world, no problem there.
As far as skills go, why not something like the snowball one where you get to pick a class?
All thats left are some animations to be made and there you go, pokemon!

Sheesh, I’ve seen that thing dozens of times and never made the connection. The canopy threw me off, yeah that’s it.

Well since I had 100% LA completion with atleast 3 characters I am sure that I have seen it before, I just didnt think of that it was the arena net logo until I saw it in the dark lights of the fallen city of epicness.

It’s not just a PoI, it’s also a Vista that angles it just perfectly to see the logo.

There is also an Arenanet logo reference in Heart of the Mists. On the horizon on the far cliff, you’ll see an arena.
