First I have never player Gw1 so my lore is only touch and go with what i can gather.

If Scarlet is drilling for something I figure it would be a good idea to look back towards gw1 to see what was in the depths of Tryia 250 years ago for hints of what elder dragon would be down there. I found there was a quest that was the precursor for Eye of the North missions. Caverns primarily filled with destroyers as well as the portal that teleports to eye of the north. Also it is a destroy army you run away from so it might still be there with no opposition for 250 years.

The argument of which dragon might be there Prim or Mordy this would certainly lean towards Prim as far as lore goes.

If this was already mentioned I apologize, just thought it might be a great predictor of what might be next.

The drill raises the question of what is beneath lion’s arch and where better to look then gw1.

The elder dragon is what destroyed the old Lions Arch. That’s the LA you see in the bottom of the ocean. The way it used to look in GW1. I don’t know what she is looking for since the dragon is gone. Could be a relic left over from the dragon I suppose.

or one of its champions she is forcing up. perhaps the best way of getting the dragon’s attention… is to kill one of its strongest No. 2s

Eh, we do that all the time with Shatt/Claw and their masters are just “Whatever, I’ll make another in 2 hours or so”.

Uh… there’s six know elder dragons so far, only one of which (Zaitan) is dead. Jormag, Krakoltorik, Mordremoth, Primordus, and Bubbles are still alive.

Not to get nit picky with what you just said, but as a Guild Wars 1 player, there is a dungeon beneath Lions Arch. And in GW2 terms, beneath Old Lions Arch. In Guild Wars 1, a massive earthquake, probably caused by Primordus, caused a fissure in an area outside of Lions Arch. You could enter the fissure and be in a dungeon called “Beneath Lions Arch.” The dungeon was this massive cathedral like structure beneath Lions Arch and was filled with destroyers, undead, and Dwarves/Asura. So in other words, there is something below old Lions Arch which is now sunk, and still beneath it could be that Dungeon from Guild Wars 1.
