I know there is no more found heirlooms/belongings vendor anymore

But…I need like 80 blades for the advanced spinal blade and I heard a rumor that the atherblades will keep dropping the Blade shards
Is that true?
Or will I be stuck forever with not enough blade shards to build the advanced spinal blade?
(because I’ve joined the event at the end of it and haven’t managed to gather enough blade shards)

About an hour ago i received 2 blade shards from the aetherblades in fractals so yeah, they do drop them.

1 Blade Shard + 1 teir1 dust + 1 teri2 dust + 50 sprockets = 10-15 Blade Shards

If you have a sprocket node in your home instance you get blade shards from that now as well.

Anyone know when the vender is supposed to show up? April 1st? 14th?

Shouldn’t you still be able to get them from the Aetherblades in the Aetherblades bases around? Assuming those are still around.

The Aetherblade Jumping Puzzle in Gendarran Fields, the Aether path is Twilight Arbor (assuming it’s fixed), the sprocket node (if you have one) and forging sprockets are all the options now available to get more Blade Shards.

Every Aetherblade that still exists in the game has a chance to drop them and the sprocket node can give you a max of 3 a day (I actually pulled that off yesterday, I was syched.) Anyone looking for the 925 or more Blade Shards necessary for the Ascended Spinal Blade is in for a bad time, but then anyone who is starting from scratch is anyway.

They really should have made them tradable. All the other crafting components I use to make low level equipment, that I also need for ascended gear is tradable, so why not Blade Shards?

There are also aetherblades in the center of EOTM.

There hasn’t been any information given on what he’ll be trading for or when he’ll show up, just that he’ll be showing up sometime in the future.

The whole purpose of putting it in the patch notes was probably just to inform people not to delete their blade shards just yet (for those who don’t regularly read the forums).
