Anet – Can someone please give an official response as to when/where/how often this merchant spawns/will spawn/is suppose to spawn?

I’ve been waiting in LA since patch and have not seen the merchant once.

I don’t think it’s in game yet. They’ll likely add it when? In a couple of months during the next patch?

That makes zero sense..why would they add the notes about it in this patch if it’s not something we can access right now.

It says right in the patch notes “when she appears”, meaning she isn’t there yet.

And I assume they’d mention her so people didn’t go prematurely destroying their spare shards.

You mean like all those people that did destroy stacks of them in the thread the red post was in? They should have mentioned it in the patch notes of either the last one or the first one that introduced the blade shards.

Yea, like them. I learned my lesson the first time they put in a merchant for spare drop items after I had deleted mine, thinking they were useless. But agreed, they should put it on blast sooner that they intend to put in a special merchant.

I don’t know we can call her a blade shard merchant specifically. Says she will want “items from major events” “including” blade shards.

I’m just wondering what is up with that. Makes me wonder if there will be other items we can exchange for who knows what.

It’ll be interesting to see what they actually offer. So much of what can be gotten with temporary currency from LS events is rather useless.

Well now I hope my paranoia regarding the key parts for Scarlet’s lair gets rewarded. Still have a few parts here and there that don’t add up to enough for a full key of one type.

Heyyy maybe she’ll accept all those queen’s gauntlet tickets, or watchwork sprockets, or pristine spore samples, and such.

have you seen the special minipet screen in your bank there are 3 new bird minipets that atm i dont know how to get so it might be that those are already things we could trade for

And maybe she’ll be taking other trophy items such as map scraps and soggy bags that we’ve been saving since LS started.
