So, am I the only one thrown by how weak Braham is shown in today’s new scene? He broke his leg. Big deal. Why is he still milking it?

Side note, I did like Taimi and his interaction, was sorta cute. Despite the “uh-huh”’s.

I wish Braham could be shown stronger. I know he’s just a kid, but Rox is too, pretty much. And she’s shown in a very different light.

Depends on how bad the break was. That said, he’s a sad excuse for a Guardian to not have condition removal to take care of it.

Sure it can. I mean, it’s like the whole of “why can’t we just Phoenix Down Aeris” in a nutshell. Yes, I get the whole “gameplay and story segregation” reasoning. That’s why there was sarcasm.

But my first point stands. Depending on how badly broken it was and where it broke, he might not quite walk the same for a while. Even if norns heal quicker. If it was the kneecap, he might have to stop his adventuring career and become a Wolfborn.

. . . yes, two memes, same post. I can go for three, if you like.

With one single post, you admit that having a broken leg is a big deal, and go on to say it can’t be that bad if the bone isn’t sticking out. I take it that you’ve lived a pretty safe life. Compound fractures are indeed bad, but even grown men can cry when their legs break.

OKAY.

We are talking about the Norn.

The same Norn that everyone argued with me about 2 weeks ago that they could face entire armies solo and still stand.

You’re telling me a broken leg is holding this. Norn back, and that, this is normal for a. Norn?

I do live a safe life. But I have had broken legs. It sucks. But this is a fantasy world where my Asura gets slashed in the face by a greatsword and bleeds a little.

Watch this, it’s perfect for this discussion.

For people who don’t want to, it comes down to this:
We, the players, have been pierced by thousands of arrows, stabbed, electrocuted, frozen, set on fire, slashed at, crushed and sometimes all at once. Yet we still fight on. And one broken leg stops Braham.

Yes I get the whole gameplay and story segregation, but it’s a funny topic nonetheless.

Aren’t they more worried about the leg not setting right? Realistically speaking if you don’t take care of a broken leg, you’d be crippled.

My brother broke a bone before and despite proper treatment, he still feels the pain today. (after 5 or so years) Pretty bad for Braham if the pain doesn’t go away.

Has a point there. It’s noted in the LORE, the better, stronger Norn? Can solo entire Charr warbands (EOTN era at least). Depending on warband, that could be anything from 4 to 10 charr at once.

5 Norn were able to handle their destroyer section, while Dwarves and humans brought an army.

Though it could be a question of how bad the break was, if there is some tech/magic part still involved (the explosion), and how much he’s been resting. I mean, afterwards he went back to fighting in the city. It could be he hasn’t given it time to fully heal yet, and that’s why he still has little pain bursts.

However, I’ll say I didn’t see it as him being weak, more of just discomfort at times.
