Karl Marx: “Go away! Last words are for fools who haven’t said enough!”
Feels like deja vu

Attack on LA was also in guild wars beyond, that was actually a fun mission to do. And then it got nerfed if I remember it well.
SIDE NOTE: I understand that it appears scarlet will combine the might of all of her alliances to form a coalition with the purpose of destroying lions arch? (kinda interesting that lions arch the melting pot of tyria would be destroyed by those outcast from the major races?)
I’ve been thinking about that…
Let’s pretend for a moment that there’s still a reason why Flame Legion and Dredge would work together as the Molten Alliance. Let’s also pretend there’s still a reason for the Nightmare Court and Krait to be working together. Ditto the Inquest and the pirates to form the Aetherblades.
Let’s pretend all of that still makes sense, somehow…
Now, throw those groups together with each other, and tell them they all have to get along and fight on the same side.
It just doesn’t work, does it?
delicate, brick-like subtlety.
On that note, I wonder what Thorn is going to think when he shows up to Lion’s Arch to tell his hilarious jokes only to find out it’s been mostly destroyed.
Laugh even harder, most likely.

Have you been playing the game for the last 6 months?
They have all been working together for months. Scarlet sends an Invasion group through portals every few hours. Also the Aetherblade path of Twilight Arbor taught us that the Aetherblade Pirates were being used to bully the Molten Alliance or vice versa. The aren’t working in harmony together, they are being forced to do this now that they’ve given their allegiance to Scarlet.
She’s still promising to give them everything they want. The payoff for the alliances could have been a Lions Arch invasion all along for all we know.

I would think that the krait would have gone home now that their tower has been destroyed. I wonder why they stick around after Scarlet failed to uphold her part of the deal.
There is the same flower/plant that drove the karkas mad on scarlets table. Yeah it was her all along.
Ever thought how each of these races/factions have been bullied by us, the heroes, and our races/factions that are clearly superior? It’s clear that what these alliances wants, which is to pummel us to the ground and show who are the superiors now.
Flame Legion always wanted to crush the other legions, dredge have always been bullied and been a minority, krait just hates every other race but can probably put it aside for their own gain, Nightmare Court sees the other sylvari as naive and wants everyone to see their way is right, Inquest has always wanted their way through, seeing the council at Rata Sum as naive and weak with their rules and it’s likely whatever Scarlet is doing with the leylines has them interested and the pirates.. well… they are being threatened by Scarlet to either follow her or die.
As you see, everyone has a reason and it’s mostly to show everyone else that is on our side that they are nolonger the superiors over them. There’s also reasons why they work with Scarlet which we got to know, like dredge already trusting Inquest due to their cooperation before.

I didn’t run that, sorry.
If they’re NOT working in harmony, and are actually under threat from each other, then my question still stands.
This is their big chance to turn on each other and get away with it. This is their chance to break free, take Scarlet down, and TAKE what they’re after. Scarlet’s going to be fighting on a few fronts already, she won’t be able … okay, realistically SHOULDN’T be able… to deal with betrayal as well.
And none of these groups will try it? Nobody’s going to step out of line and take their shot? Not the Flame Legion? Not the Krait? Really?
