Those Champs In LA must be on steroids they fell more like a lvl 80 legendary boss. For a fair size zerg would take at least 5min to kill one, while in the other hand those champs in Frostgorge Sound take like 2secs to die?? I don’t get it???

They are level 80, but these bosses are designed for the massive amount of players who are participating in this final LS release. The champions in Frostgorge weren’t designed for a zerg chain; they’re designed like regular champs, which can be killed with a little teamwork from a few people, a great amount of skill/practice for a single player (though that depends on the champion, really), or with absolutely no thought/time/effort from a giant zerg. So whereas those champs aren’t designed for zerg encounters, the LA ones are, so that it takes a little more oomph to beat them. Since there are achievements attached to them, I think it’d be pretty lame for them to be killed as quickly as regular champions. Plus, many people might not make it to the enemy before it’s killed, and even worse, people might just farm the champs instead of doing the regular Scarlet event!

Like Order of Venvardis said, Living Story is there for 2 weeks until it changes, so it’s build for massive amount of people, where-as the Frostforge champs were just a bonus for people leveling together who wanted to take on a stronger opponent. With their drops improved people just decided to farm them (partly because it’s so easy.)

Warlock is fine, look at the thief video who solo it.
I’ve done it several times.

Spider is possible if perma crippled but need to find the best ground to avoid getting exploding plants while in cocoon, this killing combo will get you killed.

Shaman is ok but the protector adds are boring as hell (AoE invulnerability was a bad idea to start with, but stacking them….).

Aetherblade Cannoneer is utterly ridiculous with his weird shielding system.

Molten Munitions Specialist has too many dangerous adds that can’t be split, and this mob model has one of the most awful attack in the game: instant cast danse step awful animation with huge knockback.
You’ll often get the silly attacks from the sky at the event spot, so with the knockback champion abilities, the adds’s knockback abilities, you get the worst knockback fest that can be found in the zone (but there are others!).

The champions events of this living story are rather bad.
And I fought solo quite all the champions in the game.

Those bomb plants may well be ANet’s most troll-ish creation yet…
