I was just wondering, is there a trick to getting into LA on your main server? Obviously it doesn’t matter if you are on main or overflow on one of the adjoining maps, and so far I’ve had no luck at all getting into LA main. Is it simply a question of how fast the LA map loads for you? Or is there some other way to increase your chances? I’m not asking for a “cheat” or any kind of exploit here, it would just be nice to try the escape from LA on a non-overflow server some time.

What exactly is the difference between main and overflow?

On the marionette event I’ve won more often in overflows than on my main. Hell how many times I got in the main after it and people were complaining because it failed while I just got it on overflow.

And that one did took some organizing, a brain dead event like this, what’s the complain exactly?

Somehow I think people have a feeling on the back of their heads only the bad players get in overflows, that it’s some kind of selection process.

Don’t even try. At least on Gandara the main server is buggy as hell. I’ve got pretty much all my deeds done in overflow whilst the main server fails a lot of events (since they zerg at one spot).

But if you really want, enter from Bloodtide and be the first to enter the portal when it opens.
