Halo is a waste of time
I just got the halo moments ago. Though I am happy to have it, I agree it’s too transparent. I would say increase its opaqueness by 30-50%
also with it disappearing… it would be nice if it only disappeared when you logged.

The real disappoint is that is only a 1hr potion instead of a permanent thing and also not usable in dungeons/fractals, seriusly what is wrong with anet?
I just can’t understand why they hate their playerbase.
They don’t hate anyone. :P It’s an oversight that will be fixed on Monday, I’m sure.

It is permanent, its just 1 hour effect and can be reaplied any time. Dungeon/Fractal restrictions seem like a bug
Hopefully it can be a toggle on/off thing in your equipment window, than just drinking a potion everyday, haha.
it’s kind of in an odd position imo
position.. what about the size ? compared to humans, asura scaling seems waaay off
I agree about it needing to be scaled up for Asura.
Yes, they are the smallest race, but they are built like lollipops and have huge heads!
why cant it be like a food buff that lass 5 hours surely that would make more sense

Yes, I don’t understand why they don’t make slots for the skins. In GW 1 you also had the halo and the horns but it was a hat that you could put as a skin, so there was no need to activate it and it didn’t disappear all the time.
In GW1 it was cool, in GW2 it’s simply useless, so I don’t even farm the items to get it.
- If ANet can’t make it permanent, they could at least increase the halo buff time to as high a number as possible or at least 24h ingame time or something.
- Like a food buff, make it not randomly disappear in battle. That happened for me when killing the wurm yesterday. I turned it on right before the wurm fight, started fighting, it turned off, I turned it on again, it turned off after a while. I do know that it normally will stay on, but during the wurm it didn’t.
- Like a food buff, make it relog-persistant.
Yes, this would indeed mean that I can give it to my alts and make them have semi-permanent halos as well. But I don’t see that as a bad thing. There was quite alot of work in obtaining it anyways. - Like a food buff, make it zoning-persistant. There is no reason for it to disappear each time I enter a new map.
- Make it usable in dungeons.
Currently it is quite inconvenient to use because of the current limitations and as such, I would not recommend people putting in the work to get it. With some changes for a more convenient halo, then it would be very recommended because I think it looks nice.
It could be a little more visible but I’m fine.
I like how people grind for “selfless potion” and then complain how they don’t look right.
Hey it’s just a name and for aesthetic purposes. If people grind for Thoughtless potion it’d still be the same, but I see the irony in it too lol
Furthermore it gets blocked by name tags.

The best one so far have been players running around in WvW with the halo, shouting in map chat and calling people tards.
Somehow, another player managed to comment ‘’Why the hell do you run around with a halo over your head when you act like the biggest turdburglar ever.’’
And everything got silent.
Also, Guild Wars halo.
