If you find Heal O Tron near Vigil’s Keep and follow him for a while you get a little reveal about what might come: it looks like he has an idea about how to stop the miasma, and since he’s wanted by the law, he goes to Evon Gnashblade for parts.

“Infection can be counteracted by subaether harmonics in a localized energy field”… then he asks Evon for a combat chassy and an energy amplifier. Oh Heal O Tron, don’t do anything stupid!

(Edited because I’d thought it said mobilized energy field at first.)

Sounds like he’s basically going to become like Mr. Sparkles in Crucible of Eternity storyline, in the radiation field.

If Heal-o-Tron dies there will be rioting in the streets of Seattle, mark my words.

Heal o Tron will become Optimus Tron and sacrifice himself to help the heroes kill off Scarlet. His unlocking the Matrix of Rata Sum will light our darkest hour.

Then Optimus Tron backpacks will be available in the Gem Shop later, as a way of Evon honoring his actions.

Pfft…. more like Heal O Tron, while trying to do a good deed to redeem himself, is going to be used by Evon. Since, as we all well know, Evon is a psychopath! He’ll more than likely rig poor Heal O Tron’s energy amplifier to overload and explode by remote control. And, after Heal O Tron’s valiant efforts to save Tyrians, he’ll more than likely be thanked by the Captains Council. Which is when Evon will detonate poor Heal O Tron in an attempt to take out the Council and place the blame on Scarlet.

Evon = psychopath villian. Like all whom become consumed by personal wealth and power.

Heal-o-tron seems to be pulling some magical technobabble at the start there. Replace sub-aether with something more technical and you could pull the same line in Star Trek.

Yeah, I think that Hero-Tron is going to turn his new body into that mobile “miasma counter” he was talking about with the Lionguard healers. He will then provide players with an escort to the Breachmaker (most likely in an instance), where we can then confront Scarlet.
