I’ve been trying to get all the LA vistas while the event is running (only during “null sessions” that are never going to get anywhere, it’s rude to do it during sessions that seriously attempt to hit 1200). This is totally fun because the routes to them are different and the panoramas are really impressive with all the destruction. I’ve hit a bit of a stumbling block. I can’t figure out how to reach the Vista between the Plaza and the Trading Forum. It used to be on top of a wooden scaffold, now it’s on a mast, but I’ve tried circling that area from every angle I can think of and can’t find a way up to it. Has anyone else managed that one?

imagine LA still there , go to WP by mystic forge, turn right and up stairs as if going towards traders/bank but go slightly left towards water, there is now an upwards slope there, then at the top turn left, go along a bit, jump down on to wooden walkway, at the end of that walkway(all broken now) you see stones and fire on your left, you have to go that way and round the back to get to the rest of the walkway.

Getting to this vista is actually less time consuming than it used to be. Once you drop down onto the platform/walkway (above where the crafting stations used to be) you can also walk up the tail of the statue, should you prefer it. There’s also a rubble pile up there right about where the big statue used to be..

Are you guys sure you’re talking about the right vista? I’m not talking about the one right above the Trader’s Forum WP that you could hop down on to reach Troll’s End, that one’s easy, I meant the one nearest the Plaza, right about the Forum map name.

That one is easy too. You just jump up on the broken bricks/rubble at the base of the mast then … the rest is pretty straightforward.

I’ve tried jumping on those bricks but there’s always a point where it gets too slippery. If it’s definitely possible then I’ll keep trying to find the right angles. I think that’s the laziest type of jump challenge though, where it’s just “impossible until it works.”

It’s an annoying jump.

Follow the wall below the Vista to the left until you hit the wooden wall. It’s not very far. Jump up on the gravelly heap then up onto the ledge. It seems like you should be able to jump up again to get to the top ledge, but you can’t. Just jump along the ledge back to the right toward the Vista. When you’re on the platform under the Vista just jump on the pile of gravel chunks there until you get up to the base of the mast. That is the annoying part, cause it’s not as simple as it seems it should be. Then you’re there.

Ah, thanks for the tips, I finally managed it. I’d been right there before but couldn’t figure out a way up that last slop. You can’t just brute force it (without some luck, at least), you need to look closely at the pile and find the 1-2 rocks that stick out enough to stand on.
