Yea I was wondering if he survive? I haven’t seen him since the attack.

Well i sure hope someone died in the attack,for now it seems everyone and their grandmother survived-its kinda silly.

I’ve been looking for this kid everywhere. I was so glad when I found the kids that were playing behind the bank in one of the camps, but I still can’t this little Asura.

If this kid is still in Lion’s Arch somewhere, I want to save her. Kitten the supplies, kitten the moas, kitten the Captain’s Council, and kitten the zerg. I’m coming for you, Raisin Face!

Where did you get that idea? All the main characters survived… but of course they all knew the attack was coming so that makes sense.

Otherwise we only saved ~1500 people lore wise. Since the city has a population of ~50,000 I’d say that quite a few people died…

Let’s not forget the enemy casualties… I’m pretty sure i’ve killed more aetherblades then come countries have people.

confirmed 45,000 people did so there is that. But their NPCs and most apparently don’t care just like Queens Jubilee

I like the idea, but they probably can’t do that. The ESRB has some rules about showing children being put in peril.

Speaking of that, has anyone seen a NPC doing something like this in any of the camps outside of Lion’s Arch? Is there nobody wandering around, hoping that some of their friends and family made it out alive?

The charr the kid talks to is the one that only has an hour to live after meeting with the lionguard healer… went to confirm after I saw the pic they posted on their twitter.

Did anyone ever find the human and skritt merchants who would bicker at the trading post? They were a few of my favorite NPCs in LA, I haven’t spotted either one of them at any of the camps yet.

I never found the two skritt talking about moving to the sewers, the Grawl refugee tribe, the Norn complaining about her drunk husband, etc. There are still a lot of NPCs that didn’t make it.

I found the charr and human children who used to play near the bank at the Vigil camp this afternoon. I teared up.

Also spotted the lone centaur who spent all his time with Lionguard rifles pointed at him, Remaining Light, and the bartender from the Fort Marriner bar whose name I can’t recall at the moment.

And while I haven’t found Raisin Face, I think the sick charr guard the healer is attending to with Heal-O-Tron at the Vigil camp might be the guard she spoke to.

And if it is…I’m gonna be tearing up again.

While playing my Charr I encountered a human woman that said “Clara? Is that you? I can hardly see anything anymore. I’ve missed you so much!”
And thus I answered, in my deep baritone: “I have to go.”

Wouldnt surprise me if the Asura that mentions she had to give up her son is Raisinface’s mom.

^ Yeah, that was the thought I had too. It seems that both Raisin Face and Squooshed-Weird Face are both casualties of Scarlet’s attack.

My brother saw a dev the other night in overflow. When he whispered them if raisin face was ok, the response was “I don’t know, I haven’t seen him since the evacuation.”

I’ve been looking all over for Trader Jikk, myself. I found an unnamed Lionguard Belongings Collector who looks like Jikk, and have been telling myself it’s him and he’s been volunteering to help the Lionguard by collecting belongings (and putting them in coconut shells and adding tiny paper umbrellas before returning them to their rightful owners). Even though he has a fairly common skin and I’m probably just deluding myself…

Maybe Jikk and Raisin-face are safe together somewhere ;_;

He might have slipped through (though I’m sure the devs did a thorough job of marking the unique npcs for representation). Given what they said about Taimi, children fighting in battle, and the ESRB, letting kids die is unkosher; so if the kid is AWOL now, he’ll likely turn up.

Doesn’t an Asura own that house with the forcefield? Maybe the kid lives or got refuge there.

I’m just wondering how Lion’s Arch even had a population of 1500 before let alone 50k, there couldn’t have been more than 2 dozen residential buildings in the whole city.

I thought 1 citizen represents maybe 10 actual civilians. We can’t expect to process 50,000 models in one scaled down city.

But yes, what happened to that kid?

There was another tiny Asura Child at the Moa race start. He/she just talked about loving turtles … haven’t seen that one either yet …

At least now we know the name of Mr “Squooshed Face”. Thank you for your service, Private Drax Tinderstrike. /salute

I’ve seen no indication of this, but I like to think Drax took a lethal dose of the gas making sure that Raisin Face and other kids got to safety.

Unfortunately I’m fairly certain now that Raisin Face was the kid belonging to that distraught Asura mother (who says that her child was dead on arrival at the refugee camp and put into a mass grave).

Have you bothered to talk to many of the NPC’s? One refugee in lornar’s pass goes just shy of assaulting a priory novice because her son is dead.

Another in one of the camps had his wife die and he almost wishes he died with her.

The Asura mom as mentioned had (Is it confirmed son? sounded vague but loved one) taken from her arms to a mass grave as soon as she reached the camp.

The two vigil soldiers talk about “Have you seen all the dead lionguard they are pulling out of LA?”

Raisin is safe. Must be for children are not allowed to die to keep game rating where it is. See the video about Taimi.

We do want to see Raisin though. Please find the progeny!

Nah, the rating is safe as long as they don’t show the child dying ON SCREEN. They could kill Raisin Face off screen and just let us know after the fact.

As for Raisin Face…yes, it’s true that children die in real wars, but this particular NPC is probably near the top of the “Endearing NPC” list for LA, if such a list existed. For Anet to kill her off really would be cruel.

the Asura woman is at the gendarran fields refugee camp, it’s quite heavy when you read her dialogue in person
