I really enjoy the look of Scarlet’s Kiss, the weapon looks great for my engineer. I would like a pistol version of this weapon, I tend to lean more on pistols.

I`d be quite happy to pay gems for it, in a similar manner to how the kasmeer staff was released.

However, only if it comes with the effects that it has in game. Scarlet and her holograms have a plasma effect on their killshot charge and other effects on the shot.

How do i get it?

I got the alternate, Scarlet’s Rainbow, which is the same thing only holographic.

Nobody has one, which is why I suspect that it is going to be a gemstore item, like the kasmeer staff.

You do know you can just search for “Scarlet” in the tp and you’ll see both right?
They also have a chance to drop from the chest in Scarlet’s Drill, after you defeat the hologram boss.

Thanks I already looked for it on the tp but it cost too much gold so I was trying to figure out if you get it from assault knights or hologram boss

Also does anyone know if you can get scarlet’s veil multiple times

I stand corrected, though I do find it very strange that the holographic one is on sale as that was marked monster only in the game files when it was researched.

Anyway, I want these, so I am glad that some concrete information on them has come to light. What would be really useful to know is if these come with a firing animation or the burst effect on their killshot….a sound effect on them would be amazing.

Edit – possibly just that

I’d be interested to hear if these rifles have alternate soundeffects and/or visuals when firing (like Predator and Super Adventure).

Well, the one I saw was the kiss one…..I haven’t seen the rainbow fired. That would really suck if it was normal, seeing as its a hologram.

At the very least, that should make the same sound as the super adventure box rifle or, preferably, pistol.

I have done some testing and I believe that the rainbow one makes different noises. I am used to the rat a tat my rifle makes and now I`m using a rainbow rifle, it makes a boom noise.

I got one yesterday from the holo fight’s rewards, but I forget the details beyond that.

That really sucks if this is the case. Earlier today I saw in chat that those Assault Knights also don’t drop loot anymore. Not sure if this is true (due to their already bugged drops) but I didn’t get any loot from the 2 Knights I fought earlier.

And I’m an AlwaysCrit Warrior with a Rifle and half the group died from the first pull, so getting a ‘first dibs’ tag and dps wasn’t the issue for me.

But it does seem to be the case that last patch completely botched up something. Last night (at 2am GMT+1) I checked the TP and the prices were around 30g for the hologram and 50g for the regular rifle. But when I checked the next day (at 4pm GMT+1) the prices have shot up to 70-110g!

I got the Rainbow one last night off of the Scarlet chest (and I killed eleven knights with zero drops from them, so that helped make up for it).

Anyone got the rifles to drop for a low level (not 80 character)?
I’m doing the event on my little warrior, and I’m curious as the champion bags are often not the same rarity as for an 80 (exotic for 80 and rare for my 51 warrior)

Just cause you didn’t get one doesn’t mean the drop is broken.

I really, really want these rifles. As an Engi, I rarely get a decent skin from LS to show off. These rifles are awesome and I must have them!

has anyone seen how the Scarlet’s Kiss fires ? Does it just fire like a regular rifle or is there some effect on the shot ? I saw some dialogue earlier that hinted at a killshot effect but wasn’t certain that it was legitimate.

Scarlet’s Kiss does in fact make a more low pitched, canon-like sound compared to other rifles. It also makes steam and gear spinning sounds in between shots.

Can confirm this, I have Scarlet’s Kiss. Scarlet’s Rainbow sounds the same.

Does this still droping? Because its price gets lower and lower. Or just people who drop then panic and try to sell it fast?
