Ok. So. I did this event 10+ times. Monitors combat log like paranoid Monitors. During the fight I never got hig of any telegraph. The only damage that I got – it ticks for 3k+ with knockback, arriving (literally) out of nowhere, which is not shown in the log at all. I waited for 3 seconds after laser trail disappears. Did not get damage even from ultraviolet hologram blows. I repeated it all perfectly at least 5 times already. I have tons of screenshots of combat log.
Question: where is achievement?
It seems the only who got it – it’s leechers before the patch? No one can answer works it or not.
Tell me at least: what am I doing wrong? Maybe I should just stand afk there?

Did you ever get dazed?

Thats a tell-tale sign of getting hit by the scorch mark.

You obviously already know that the animation is bugged and disappear before the damage hitbox.

I’ve also heard of people losing the achievement by getting downed (even when not getting hit by the laser/mark).

I’ve heard of people not getting it if they don’t actually damage the hologram.

No, there was no daze. Did not fall downed state. Knockback only on 3-4 thousand damage. It is not noted in the combat log at all.

I did get it 30m ago, i was hit by a blue holo area, got downed, even killed… but i never got damaged by either Lasers or the big circular area in melee range of her.

And what about the fields of micro-holograms on the ultraviolet phase?

I did get it last night. Failed at in tune (curse those zeros) but was super careful to never get near any laser path. I don’t recall if I got downed during the fight, I know I did get knocked down, possibly by those sudden green force field bubbles.

Playing thief with lots of dodge, using shortbow to range the Prime Holo and other foes, and waiting patiently for color fields to appear in the section of floor near me rather than trying to dodge through lasers to get prime boon faster.

I didnt get hit by those, so… no idea.

Running combat tab, looking carefouly to all messages, Attacking all holos.

The only hit I got is the scarlet push (That is not a holo attack).

Also, I know that in the recent patch the laser outside the boss count agains achiev too, I’m aware of this, and sure that I’ve not been hit by those.

Same here. The only thing that touched me is the Ultraviolet blast. Other than that, haven’t touched one single laser.

Considering how hard it is to get even to the hologram fight, it’s very underwelming. :-/

Took me 24 tries to get my achievement. Now i’m beyond 30 suceed tries and yet i need in tune.

…But at least you’re having fun doing it over and over again, right?
Yea I still need this one too. First attempt: knocked by a bubble right in the laser field about 10 seconds before holo disappeared… Second and third: hit by an invisible laser that came out of nowhere. Fourth: didn’t get the achievement just because. Can’t wait for more when I’ll finally manage to Desolation main again.

Made it. After Elrey’s post, I thought: maybe developers mess up something with the latest patch, correcting getting achievements through the death on the boss. Therefore, in the second phase, I caught a few blows of blue hologram. Rox revived me, then as usual – and voila! Achievement is mine. I recommend to try this option.

I think this achievement is bugged. I never went near the laser field, I was extra careful about disappeared marks, waited 4-5 secs after those disappeared and no achievement for me.

I only have this achievement missing, is there any reason why i should get it?

That aside, what exactly is the laser or scorch marks? Can i step on the orange stuff as long as the ultraviolet ray that comes afterwards doesn’t hit me? I may be messing up without knowing, because i just did it and only got hit by those thunders that come from nowhere (during the final phase) which you can’t avoid and make you go into a downed state. Those must be avoided as well?
