I realize that many classes have a “goto” skill that helps with getting this achievement. But as a necro main.. it is very VERY hard. I have been going at this for almost 2 hours (with non skip able cut scenes, I might add. seriously?) To be honest. This alone is getting me to such a point of frustration. Was this meant?

Please.. at least remotely consider turning off the second knockback.. or at the very least decrease the range that it throws the player back.

OR.. make the cut scenes skip able.

I am also starting to think that Asura have a slower finish animation.

lol.. So ANGRY.
cheers

Are you Oceanic?

Pretty sure our ping makes us a second or so too slow to be able to do it.

People from the states (with 600% better ping) are having a hard enough time anyway!

When I get that feeling I want… spectral healing.

I wish it was that.. it would be a decent reason. No, I am NA. but I appreciate your reply.

I completed the “task”. as it felt no where near an achievement. Took me almost 3 hours. This is NOT, the way you make a gratifying achievement. As close to impossible, without specific skill sets, or relying on timers/chanting/channelers that can possibly be influenced by latency.. or having to watch youtube, over and over. Just overall very unhappy with this “design” If I ever have to see this cut scene again.. it will be to soon. A wonderful story cut.. destroyed by having to watch it over and over again. sad really.

I will take a break, have some Cpt. Crunch. at get back at it. Need some fun after that horrible event.

all the best to everyone having troubles with this.
cheers.

Could be your ping, but it did take me a while to get it, even with awesome ping. it’s all about timing to get that.

why bother with it? It’s not like yo HAVE to do all the achieves.

I’ll only do it if one of my guildies goes to attempt in I party up with them.

I am terrible at dodging. (Problem is being on a keyboard, I’ll dodge all day long via a joypad….but if I were to even try practising this, my fingers would be in agony. Not that expect anet to tune achievements to those that may have disabilities, but the majority of the player base seems very frustrated with this achieve.
This recent LS is just terrible anyway)

it is all about dodging that large circle when you reach her, you can non-swiftness run to her, start the animation, then the circle appears, dodge as best you can into the wall to your left/right and spam F to re-start the animation.

You get enough time to get the finisher off, but it is so insanely close, you have to do it perfectly

Yeah… I did this on my elementalist fine, but I don’t know how I would do it on a necromancer. Do you have any other characters you can use? If you made the spinal blades, I’m fairly sure any character on your account can enter the final scene skipping everything else.

i did it today actually without really thinking about it. I was in a party and we were all in the instance together and when two of them ran up they triggered the first interrupting skill she does and right when she finished i ran in and got her easily.

Don’t know if that helps but if the whole dodging and timing isn’t helping others try going in with a party and try something like that. it was fast and really simple. shrug shrug

After more than 20 tries on a Norn Warrior (using bulls rush to get in, frenzy to speed up, dodging left, dodging right and so on), I gave up, loaded my Ele, mapped arcane shield to E, Mist form to R, dodged in whilst hitting E, then FR, and completed the achievement. There is a big difference in how hard this is for different classes, compounded possibly by race.

I am really glad I don;t have to see that cut scene again!

For necro it is super easy. Just use spectral walk teleport after she CCs you and you win.

Is there anyone who wants to party up for this achieve? since apparently its far easier in a party? (one person triggering her pushback the other actually getting the stomp)
All party member should get the achieve.

message me in game if you want to try it together.

I’m really frustrated with he achieves of this event ..

I appreciate the fb on the necro end of it..

I did complete by using spectral walk.. but only for the sprint. I used the dodge method. There are actually three different obstacles btw. 1rst is her shocking grasp like stun, then her Shocking knock back field, and then if your too close to her. she has an interrupt that she can use during your finisher. It wasn’t a problem understanding her attacks/disrupts.. it was a problem with the overall timing of dodges and the immediate f key finish.

another VERY good point that was brought up .. was how does one with possible disabilities get through this solo. (at least a group does help and ty Taygus)

my overall issue with this cheevo.. is that it is simply NOT fun at all, not fun having to perfectly execute, or watch the same cut scenes over and over and over…with no way to skip. its frustrating and even more so irritating.

I understand that achievements are meant to be a challenge. but not one that makes you want to twist your keyboard in half. I have helped a great deal of folks with rubble piles, peter ect.. but there is no way In hell, I’m watching that cut scene again.. even to help someone out.

hope they loosen the timing on this a bit..
all the best and ty for the replies.

Well, if you go insane by trying and failing and are forced to watch the cutscene 34628736 times, Scarlet wins. Hence I’m not gonna make an attempt until the stupid cutscene is made skippable.

Team up with someone, partied up. they didn’t even go near. but scarlet did not interrupt my finisher.
I used F, big orange circle, spectral walk, blown, spectral walk tether, F, finished. No dodging.

I did that 6 times prior to partying, but by myself she ALWAYS interrupted my finisher.
I think she focus on the other party member, making it soooooo much easier.

I tried it earlier, I did the “dodge to the left and run back” but the SECOND I got back to Scarlet (and I was very close), she instantly did the big orange circle attack.

It seems HARDER now then it was before.
