So I’m just clarifying…. I only have 1 achievement left to get the Meta for Battle of LA. Will I be to late to get it finished tonight after I’m done with work?

Depends on when Anet feels like adding it. They have no set time~ last LS was super late during night time.

In all likelihood . . . yes. Epilogue is supposed to come out today. I’ll guess around the time the dailies reset.

Last few LS updates have been a few hours before daily reset, but there is no set time.

Call in sick or go in to work late and get it done right now! You gotta have the right priorities man!!

Unless the achievement you need is six minutes to knightfall- that’s probably not gonna happen.

As long as you can do it before 7pm server time, you’ll be fine.

That being said, the meta reward isn’t anything too amazing, so you’re not missing out on much.

Yeah I would not feel too bad about missing that bag of loot – almost nothing in it that is worth while. Only unique thing was the scarlet mask and if you got that from defeating the hologram then you got the only thing you can’t get elsewhere.

Yes, why were you not doing the minor event dailies this whole time? There really is no excuse for these last minute stresses. You had two weeks worth of kill ten of this or participate in that daily achievements to fill up your meta bar without having to get through the much tougher and in some cases nearly impossible LS achievements.

Yes, why were you not doing the minor event dailies this whole time? There really is no excuse for these last minute stresses. You had two weeks worth of kill ten of this or participate in that daily achievements to fill up your meta bar without having to get through the much tougher and in some cases nearly impossible LS achievements.

People work, people have families, people have other commitments. Just because some can sit at a PC all day and play GW2 does not mean everyone can.

I have all those things too, but I got it done because I had two weeks to do it in. So, yeah, you don’t need all day to spend five minutes killing ten guys. Or to wander over to a vista.

It seems to me most of the Tuesday Living Story updates occur between 9am – Noon server time. I know when the Assault Knights first came to Lion’s Arch I was there for the first run at 10am I believe.

As has been mentioned though…Dailies Dailies Dailies. I know people are busy but, especially with this update, you could have done these dailies in the time it takes to use the restroom. Everyone has enough time for that. Then there’s no stressing on the final day.

OP if you’re not able to get the meta achievement then don’t worry. This is probably the best one to miss because all you get from the meta achievement is:

• 1 Scroll of Knowledge (5 skill points)
• 1 essence of Luck
• 1 limited guild finisher
• 5 Obsidian shards
• and 1 rare or exotic item. None of which are unique to this bag.

It’s nice to have if you can get it, but if not you can get all the same rewards elsewhere.

As long as you’re at home with a functional computer and internet access for part of each day then that’s great advice.

If you’re away from home for some/all of those two weeks or otherwise unable to log in then it doesn’t matter how long it would take to do it, you can’t. And unlike regular achievements you can’t rush through all the dailies in one go if/when you can log in.
