I just did a run on the Breachmaker. Whether people would condone it or not I opted to not fight at all. Not fighting seems to me to be the only possible way to get No More Tricks and In Tune. I wasn’t hit by the lasers, but my pet was. I didn’t get the achievement. I also failed In Tune, but that’s because I couldn’t follow my own advice and I hit one of the mini primes without white attunement. I don’t know if it counts, but I didn’t get it, so it must.

My pet is pretty useless in there any way. Which is a puppy as why do I have it. And if I turn it off it makes my toon less than it should be. This is the second event lately that the pets get to be a problem, marionette was first. What’s the use of giving us a tool then making it useless.

It’s kind of like giving a warrior a sword and then making it not hit.

I have seen some non-rangers complaining about not getting the achievement when they should have on my World. I do not think the pet counts for this – it hasn’t for any other similar achievements in the past.

Canach’s lair and TA Aetherpath ooze puzzle did it. If your pet stepped on a mine or went through the fires in TA you wouldn’t get the achis. I don’t know if they have since fixed it for TA.

Its amazing that after all this time pets are still where they are. How is it nothing been done to raise them up from the statue of dead weight yet

Well, I guess I’ll just have to try it on a non-pet toting class and see if I get lucky.
