Anyone else feel like the drop rate on these is terrible? The other day we killed one knight and failed the event, and i get 4 power cores. After that i succeed knights 3+ times and defeat scarlet and get 0 power cores. I feel like you should get at least one for doing the event. Thoughts?

Considering they can be traded and are only used as a cosmetic upgrade, they actually have a rather high drop rate compared to other similar items.

No. Two drops gave me three cores (one and then two) after the last round of patches. Granted I’ve only gotten four drops in total from 13 knights killed throughout this LS chapter, and it therefore means nothing statistically, it does mean that the power core drop rate is not terrible. With your (and my) small sample sizes, we cannot come to any conclusion though.

I just thought it was strange i’m rewarded with 4 for killing one knight and failing while being rewarded with 0 when succeeding on knights and scarlet.

It’s pratcically a junk, wait couple of days and it will be worth couple of silver for synerg. and static and 20-30 for dynamic.

Actually their drop rate isn’t bad in my experience. I generally get between 0 & 2.

What I’ve found is static is ridiculously common drop compared to synergetic and even more, compared to dynamic.

I do however also agree, that they should have been a guaranteed drop. [1 core RNG on colour, none of this 0-3 ..ah well.]

I’ve gotten cores from knights often both before n after patch, sometimes 0~ but ever since patch changed event I’ve gotten 0 from Scarlet out of like 10+ kills or something. She used to give me cores.

It’s another RNG that favors the blessed few and leaves the rest of us behind.
