Do they make sound or do they have a different animation? I dont want to souldbind mine yet :O

But not a special animation.
I got one and use it on my engi.
The problem by an engi is, just 1 make the sounds because 2-5 have own sounds.

I would also like to know, and I have been unable to find any audio/video of them actually being used rather than just previewed in the equipment preview screen. What do they sound like? Do both have the same sound?

Both have the same sound.
The sound is more a canon instead of a rifle and after the shot you can hear a mechanic thats reload the gun like gear wheels. (not so easy to discribe it)

The sound effects are deeper with a reverberating ring. A warrior who had one demonstrated the effects and I compared them to the original effects on my regular rifle.

I use a rainbow and it has a deeper, more “boom” like sound.

Its a strange sound in that, when I am solo it is quite distinctive, but in a larger fight it tends to blend in with the combat. I don’t mind doing some guesting on EU to show it to people, if anyone wants to see it in action.
