Im doing hearts at bloodtide coast when i suddenly turned back and Scarlett Airship was like 100m maybe from Lion’s Arch south gate…..

There’s an Edge of the Mists portal in that location. Before those portals are usable, an Aetherblade ship flies in and you have to complete a defense event.

When the Aetherblades were first introduced there were events like this all over the place. One of their ships would fly in somewhere in a zone and you’d have to beat all the pirates.

That’s an achieve for the EotM release. You kill the Aetherblades and use the unstable portal.
