Q:

So Scarlet is a dragon champion after all? She wasn’t awesome enough being supersmart, superstrong and superscary? She was influenced by an evil force?

If you can read this then it is proof that ArenaNet’s moderators just, kind and fair.

There is no actual evidence supporting that the dragon was the one talking to her. People just came to that conclusion cause it was a dragon that woke up at the end.

In Scarlet journel (from the Marionette event) she mention about an entity that keep staring and talking to her, driven her mad http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Scarlet_Briar%27s_Journal unless you think this entity is entirely a different character/ thing? I mean why else she went to great length to awaken it? To killed it herself to stop the madness or it was the entity will?

Also isn’t the whole a greater villain than the first villain is a trope/ cliche anyway?

Normally, but correct me if I’m wrong, I never played GW1, aren’t Dragons kind of the main bad guy in this universe? If so, then it isn’t cliche, but rather in line with their universe’s narrative. Assuming dragons in GW1 could direct others to do their will, which I’m led to believe was possible.

If that’s the case then this was a great way to introduce this dragon and “dragon champions” whatever those are, to people new to the GW world, as well as a tip of the cap to people who are already versed in the GW lore.

I won’t stop because I can’t stop.

It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….

Yes the dragon is the main antagonist in GW2 but the OP (ThiBash) think that Scarlet stand equal to them but thanks to the recent event she is pretty much the lesser villian overall.

Also in GW1 there is no dragons well Elder dragons per say (well there’s Glint) and originally the villains in GW1 are stand alone villians that is in the Nightfall expansion the god Abandon (main villain in that game) had in a way influence the villains in Prophecies and Fraction.
