Hey everyone!
I would like to know if after the last patch, that modified the knights mechanic forcing people to split in 3 groups with a max of 50 people for each knight, anyone actually managed to kill the 3 knights under 6 min and get the achievement Six minutes to knightfall.
From my personal experience trying it, this achievement seems to be way too difficult at current state considering that:
- Knights have too much toughness, for example pre patch i could deal 8-9k damage with Unload while now i hit just for 2-3k with the same skill;
- People partecipanting could not have a proper build and/or gear for this kind of event.
I don’t want to start a complaint thread i just would know if this achievement is actually attainable with the current state of the game and if yes how exactly.
(The best that my server did was something like 12 min that is the double of the time required for the achievement).

Twice, but the achievement isn’t working. I did it once with TTS in 2 minutes and 1 seconds around-about, and again in a random overflow with 40 seconds to spare. Neither time was the achievement awarded. Short of being one of the lucky few that get the bugged achievement at complete randomness, I wouldn’t go in hoping for it until it’s fixed in another patch.
Nothings against TTS, but it seems you need a guild of 150 people whiling to do the event in an overflow, with all the summoning consumable available to get achievement nowadays.

And not even then is it guaranteed due to bugs.
But yeah, they really need to get working on proper event scaling. This is killing smaller servers.

Is anyone knowledgeable on how ANET test these things?
Do they actually have 150 guys test the event or do they just pick an excel sheet and calculate the boss HP on their view of a reasonable DPS?
Apart from all the bugs it seems to me they they throw a “/random boss hp” and then patch it accordingly to the community response.
Also their way to divert the issue of condition builds unplayability in PVE is just add so much condition hate to make sure none will use – typical go zerk or go home.
If you want the achievement, make sure you don’t die or get downed, some people is reporting they are not getting achievs when that happens, both inside and outside the breachmaker.
When we managed it, it was with about 0.5 seconds left.

I’ve gotten it on a regular non-TTS overflow as well, as stated previously in the thread. It doesn’t require anything beyond some cooperation, and people learning how to play with a melee weapon and food/potions. In other words, it’s a general l2p issue.

It’s actually a bug or a scaling issue most likely, the TTS run I was on did it in 3 or so minutes but it looked like it was dying way too fast for the amount of people there.I remember once we did it before the 50 per knight change and we killed blue in 10 seconds too.
Cheevo was bugged anyway, I haven’t tried it since the current patch.
