So, When i discovered that the spinal back piece was acc bound till the exotic version ( even after wearing it) i instantly made a backpiece for myself. However i was wearing it on my guardian till today. And i discover its suddenly soulbound on my guardian.

I dont like this a little bit at all… Why make it acc bound first and after that make it soulbound?

Well, soulbound on use means soulbound on use.

well uhm like i said it wasnt souldbound on use.. even the gw2 wiki said it was accoundbound.. Only the ascended was soulbound on use.. I couldnt believe it at first so…

i see that they changed that on the wiki as well. But i was sure it was acc bound till the exo version!. I know for sure since i used it on my ranger first ( since i created it on this char) and later i used it on my guardian….

I can confirm they were account bound before… dunno what made them change their minds. Oh well though it always gets re-account bound when you forge it in the Mystic Toilet though so if you want it on a different character, upgrade it and change it over?

Made a thread here and one in bugs last night on this…. Dunno why they did this.

Upgrading wont be possible… I cant make nor i cant afford making a ascended version. so yea.. I just hope they just fix it back like how it was.. If they change things where people cant profit from then i understand that. But now they make it worse than how it was.. with no reason at all really..

They did, only its ANet that profits not us.

Aw shoot. There goes my dream. I wanted to make ALL backpieces and TM them to the level 20 fine ones so that I could wear them for looks with any character. But no. Well, at least I don’t have to worry about the cores anymore. Or… reaching a fun goal one day.

You could still do that by transmuting them onto the white backitems contained in the Backpack Set’s. Just don’t expect them to have stats…
