Anyone kinda wish Anet had not given anyone a preview of what’s to come?

It would have been great to experience it first hand, not knowing anything about what happens to LA.

Atm I feel like I’ve been told all about the red wedding before reading or seeing it on TV

I’m really hoping there are some big surprises in a few hours time.

I feel the same way, have been avoiding spoilers for days now it’s tiring and exhausting !
makes reading gw2 news w/o accidentally destroying my experience very hard.

The spoilers are great. There have been quite a few ominous hints that LA would be attacked for weeks now. Some obvious, some not so. Also, they are giving you just a portion of the information you need/want to know. What we get is the “what,” and in game we will get the why and how. In my opinion the previews are not spoilers, and purely hype builders (which is normal for a company like this). An argument could be made for some of the prior previews being spoiler heavy which I think there are a couple, but I still apply the same logic. I want the why and how.

I personally appreciate ArenaNet giving us fair warning about this huge and potentially permanent change. It gave me an opportunity to grab a bunch of screenshots for nostalgia and do all the goofy things I’ve been meaning to do in the zone, but never got around to doing until the news of the next update came out. Not to mention it gave the community the opportunity to preserve as much as they could via the Wiki, Project Eavesdrop, screenshots, videos, etc.

Also, after learning about this study, I don’t fear spoilers anymore. http://www.npr.org/blogs/monkeysee/2012/07/26/157430614/it-was-all-a-dream-or-turns-out-spoilers-are-good-for-you

No, because we would have thousand of topics:
“OMG! I didn’t took any screenshot! Why didn’t you tell us?”

I personally liked how they did it but I think it could have been even shorter. Like quicker glimpses.

Snape kills Dumbledore.

That is completely incorrect, everyone knows Scarlet killed Dumbledore in order to acquire the Elder Wand to power her marionette. Just like she overthrew Darth Sidious in order to acquire her very own Death Star.
