Nothing has said that Tequatl is related to Scarlet – just the Living World stories (plural).

Aye, I personally think this is something that has to do with Season 2 rather than Season 1.

I’m with the OP.

1 more patch and still no explanation why he became abandoned content so powerful.

He was tired of getting beaten every single time and found a way to become stronger. Maybe he practiced with the remaining risen after Zhaitans defeat, so he has better chances of avenging his master.

Speculation:
they think noone care for the wurm cause tequatl is easier so they make what people like harder to make people fight what they dont like

As weird as it might sounds, i think he did just level up because it killed a lot of players! That gave him new skills and such.

on a serious note….the only thing i can think of is that the energy ley line that runs through LA, also runs by him and powered him up somehow?

He killed a lot of players since start and levelled up last September? I shudder to think how many levels he has gained since then, that first week of massacres still haunts me in my dreams.

Munching up that many players had beef him up like HGH. I blame the engineers.

Teq didn’t get stronger, he just got harder to kill, probably he speculated Zerk gears are going to be nerfed and switched to his Knight gears.

He was tired of being beat up constantly.
So he went to the gym and tried to buff up, though at first his trainer was Jormaag and they didn’t get along well.
Eventually Teq found a training regimen that worked for him and passed it along to the Wurm brothers.

Meanwhile Shadow Behemoth still cries in the bathroom at night, looking at his reflection while whispering “Be strong, be strong, you can do it”.

In all seriousness it could have been a development where it had nothing to do with Scarlet directly.
Maybe the ley line wibbley wobbley energy things just pumped him up for a moment.

Since Zhaitan is dead he became a Champion of Mordremorth now and grew powerful to herald Mordremorth’s rising!
