What did it take you make those overall? And of the Ascended recipes you can buy for 250 momentos, which one is the red one? I saw three but I keep thinking they’re the 3 different colors.

I think that backpiece would go great with the Aetherblade armor skins.

What a shock its a heavy armor user because the cloth one costs about 100x as much (or more).

ANet better change that quickly.

I have no idea how to change the color, the main recipe is the golden.

Grats but I think I will just stick with my ascended capacitor. That new back piece is freakin hideous looking. Looks like spider legs growing out of your back.

One of the best back pieces they’ve made. It’s the first one to make me think about swapping out my trusty jetpack on my mechanical set.

Agreed, even if it looked awesome I would still stick to an item that shows some degree of skill to get. Even if its not much. It took me endless runs of fractals while this was gotten in a few hours of zerging and gold.

Not to mention, why the hell do I want to look like a neon spiderman? :P I like the jetpack but I missed out on it. But like I said, the best in my opinion still is the ascended capacitor. Its noticeable but not completely overpowering and over the top.

You can still use the blade backpiece without all the legs. It looks a lot like an alternate packpack

According to Dulfy we can’t make those other colors yet. We need a power core (3 types, of the Asuran colleges) to make those others, and we have no way of getting the power cores yet.

@OP How the heck did you already get that many spinal blades? You must be pretty lucky in your drop rate or have been playing it the whole time since the patch release.

Also how did you get it to make it? When I tried to use the blueprint (completed one) in the mystic toilet it wouldn’t let me put it in any of the slots.

I’ve only run the evetn a half dozen times and i have 4 stacks. Im not shocked that someone farmed enough.

I did it only four times last night and only have a stack and a half I think.

I do wish they blade shards were tradeable, so that those that don’t plan on using them could sell them and those of us (like me) who want to make several for alts (or the different colors later on) can both benefit.

I ran it 3 times, made up to the masterwork version, and still have 150+ shards.

I like the pack piece without the blades too (first tier). It looks like a lesser jet pack. I plan on throwing one on my engi.

How to best utilize this skin:

1.) Roll a sylvari with ‘leaf-like’ hair and purple/light green skin as a ranger
2.) Name yourself “Kerrigan”, “Queen of Blades” or “Sarah Kerrigan”
2.) Enter WvW, preferably with a guild full of skinny Charrs
3.) Command the Zerg

I’m going to make it, but I doubt I’m going to be having it viewable. It’s just so… bulky. The blade wing/leg things are cool, but that back piece is hideous. They should remove the “jet-pack” pieces and just make the curved part hug the spine of your character, That would remove 75% of the bulk… but that’s probably not gonna happen, sadly :[

I think that’s if you want to infuse the ascended version. I may be wrong though, I’m still new to ascended crafting.

Am I the only one that prefers the six armed to the eight? That fourth set of arms is just ridiculously large and gaudy.

Do you have to infuse it to get max stats? thats still the main thing I wanna know. I hope it doesn’t need upgraded after making first ascended piece liek fractal ones require. <.>
