So heirloom farming around la and i see this cave naturally i jump straight in only to find myself trapped in an inescapable cave which i couldn’t get out of, just wondering if one of the devs put this in as a trap or if it was unintentional as there is no way out it suggest the devs went to a bit of effort to make sure you couldn’t map breakout from there

Yup, I got stuck there too, with two friends, thinking a rubble piece would be in there. Tried everything, including Blink, to get out. Nada.

Mesmer staff skills push you in to all sorts of poorly designed terrain features. Waypoints are your only way out. That, and change your weapons.

I got caught in that cave trap as well. The second time there I looked closer, and it really does look intentional to me.
