Since the update before this last it seems like a plurality believe that the Sylvari were meant to be dragon minions of Mordremoth and that the Pale Tree is “pulling a Glint”.

Now set the wayback machine to one of the Sylvari plot-lines involving a Sylvari who was from a different tree.
Now this is a stretch, but the plausible location for the Tree sounds like it is in The Falls area, remembered by GW1 fans, of the Maguuma jungle.

The Falls was mostly known for Totem Axes and later the Asura lab (Aetherblade base now?) but it also was one of the few places you could enter the Mists (specifically the Fissure of Woe).

In that context, wouldn’t the EotM movement make a whole lot of sense? (It was making none before this thought.)

It totally ruins the synergy of my private hopes that we’d find Mordremoth at Majesty’s Rest however.
