Can only level 80’s get this drop or can a player that is being upscaled to lvl 80 get it as well.

I want to use my engineer during these events for the exp, instead of just using my already 80. But i really want that rifle so im just wondering if its possible?

Thats not how GW2 works in regards to rare items.

Because there is a global market, droprates are very low. So its not really a matter of earning anything, you just got to get very lucky.
You cannot say you are going to “earn” such a rare item, just like you couldnt earn such rare items in the past.

Instead some people get lucky, they sell it. Super rich people buy it, and resell it for atleast 2x the gold.

I’m pretty sure only level 80s can get level 80 stuff. When I was leveling my characters I camped a bunch of them at old Tequatl and at other low level world events, and on those a level 80 often gets various exotics, but until they actually hit level 80 you just get same-level rares instead.

There are a few exceptions, I believe, but I doubt these guns qualify, so unless someone officially confirms it, I would wager “no.”

It just dropped for my level 51 engineer.

RNG =/= Earned. ;/
Liadri Mini.. SAB Trib weapons… those are things that are earned. XD

Just get it any means necessary. You may never get drop and price will become 500g+
It is the best Rifle skin in game. I’ve killed Scarlet too many times to count and haven’t gotten anything so don’t push RNG too much.
