I would certainly be open to it going for at least another 2 weeks (so a full month total) at the very least.
Between the bugs, the fact that its the finale of the whole season, and the fact that the next update won’t be happening for a while (aside from the epilogue update) I don’t see any reason to have it 2 weeks and done.

I’d be happy with an added week as compensation (provided they fix the loot drops on the knights soon)

Living story content is available for 4 weeks from its release. It’s just that new ‘stuff’ comes out every 2 weeks causing overlaps, leaving people thinking that they have to rush everything.
Case in point was Queens Gauntlet, specifically the pavilion rather than the 1v1 stuff on the ring above. It was dead on week 3 and 4 because everyone was off doing the new stuff.

It isn’t always available for 4 weeks. The attack on Lion’s Arch was only around for 2 weeks, as have certain updates prior to that. There are quite a few that do last 4 weeks, but not all.
The fact that they’re calling the next update an “epilogue” that will “conclude the story arc” suggests to me that the whole battle for LA will be over at that point. But I’d love to be wrong on that.

With the annoying bugs and it being the end of a very long chain of LS … it needs to be around more than 2 weeks to finish it.
Yeah, I definitely think it should be extended, by only probably a week (that will also give them another week to work more on the feature build, for whenever that comes out)

Event wise, it needs to last for a full 4 weeks.
Story wise, the rescue event should have lasted one day, and the final battle one day. While having it last so long is an important point for players to be able to do the event, it’s odd to have these sudden events last so long. It lessens the impact of them as part of the story too, I think.
Yes, I am glad they lasted for weeks. Yes, I feel an extra two weeks on the final events is a good idea. But as an RPer, having them last so long still feels odd and makes RPing about the events awkward.

Turns out though, rushing everything as soon as it comes out has a lot of benefits. Might be unplanned benefits, but benefits they are

They might extend it to 4 weeks, they use to do that, 2 weeks for the main LS then when the new LS dropped they’d still keep the old one around. Since the next patch will be a Epilogue, depending on how comprehensive it will be (i.e. will it be a few talky cut scenes or will they actually start making alteration to LA) we might still have battle for LA continuing.

Agreed.
Though, it’s disheartening that we have to now kill all three to get any form of reward.
What about maps that don’t have enough players to do that?

From the bottom of my heart honesty after this event passes, I hope L.A doesn’t get back to normal. Maybe stay as a ruined city, or build a giant floating island on top of L.A. Or maybe have it radioactive, or something like that.
