Nope. Captain Counsel Ellen Kiel. Here. Trahearne N2, But lazy written.

Trahearne didn’t take any credit for killing Zhaitan. He even mentions that it burdens him that he couldn’t help you.

I liked Trahearne. It was the pacing of the personal story that was off, which in turn made him feel bland. We also never got to see much of his personality, outside of his interaction with Sieran in the Sylvari personal story.

His voice really didn’t help. His voice stayed the same the majority of the time, which is part of the problem with him feeling so bland.

Just a reminder that story instance NPCs need to actually do some damage. I’m sorry, Rytlock Brimstone and Eir Stegalkin doing crap damage in Ascalonian Catacombs story mode? When they almost killed an Elder Dragon? Suspension of belief can only go so far Anet, let our story instance NPCs actually do some damage and kick kitten if we’re by ourselves (in terms of party)! Before somebody pulls out the whole “leeching” thing, remember…you only have to do story instances once, and if you’re trying to leech story dungeons by using NPCs…well, the prizes only come once a day, and it’d be faster to help them along then just sitting there letting them do it.

Trahearne was a character that had a backstory, and, if you played Sylvari, he has been around from the beginning to the end of Zhaitan.
You got the feeling to know him, and even though, knowing him meant hating him, he had character built up.

All new characters are just placeholders for stereotypes. Boring as kitten.

Actually it’s lore too. According to the lore Dragon Corruption can’t be undone. They go into it quite a bit during the Sylvari personal story that no matter what happens, even if Zhaitan is defeated, that Trahearne probably won’t actually be able to fulfill his wild hunt.

Actually it’s lore too. According to the lore Dragon Corruption can’t be undone. They go into it quite a bit during the Sylvari personal story that no matter what happens, even if Zhaitan is defeated, that Trahearne probably won’t actually be able to fulfill his wild hunt.

That story takes place before you discover the Source of Orr. On the final stretch things look a little better, and both temple events and the personal story instance clearly show the land healing, albeit in a small area and in the story we’re forced to leave back into a static world before we learn whether the ritual actually lasts.

I have a lot of respect for him and he has been a constant in the lives of my characters, I miss him.
I really feel like, while I like to make new friends, I miss my oldest and most constant companion

I sort of hate him, even though I could get along with him a bit better after leveling a Sylvari.

But if I have to compare him to what we got in the LS, than I have to say that he is the best friend we got all together.

If you think Trahearne stole anything one and a half years after the PS happened, boy you are missing the facts. WHOOSH.
