From the teaser on massively they mention “Other characters you might be used to seeing and overhearing around the city will now have more pressing problems at hand than finding bargains, buying wine, and making trades”

So what will happen to our favorite other characters?

what’s going to happen to the “by Ogdens hammer what savings!” guy…
Is he never going to find a deal again?

Or the sewer finding Scritt!
I think he’s going to save many lives with his new sewers locations!

What about the salad joke guy? will he finally tell the joke? Will Canach (snake blisken) end up saving him?

What about the moa racers!

Won’t somebody please think of the moa racers?!

And will that poor human finally find an outhouse?

To be 100% honest here, I just want Canach to be safe. If we can’t save him during the attack, well, then everybody else can just drop dead for all that I care.

I wanna hear him shout “By Odgen’s hammer, my savings!” at the Vigil Keep after someone tries to calm him down with “Atleast we made it out alive.”.

Also the charr at the bank, she better rethink her statement “Commerce beats combat.” about the whole ex-pirates thing after this event!

This seems to be yet another ailment that can be cured by some of that Krait oil.

Maybe we’ll finally see that norn’s drunk husband. He’ll wake up in Vigil Keep like “Where the hell am I?” And she’ll be all “I had to carry your drunk butt all the way here!”

“These new soldiers of Scarlets are horrible customers. They won’t buy my Stone Carvings and Grof Grass either!”

I still love Owain and her crazyeyes in Southsun.

They should make her more important and add a smileyface scarecrow backpiece.

My Favorite non-main npc’s are….., the narrators of all these Living world trailers we’ve been getting. I have no idea if they are throw away voices, or actual characters in the game.

I like to think that they are the voices of the gods (as they are the only ones besides the Elder Dragons who can possibly narrate the Living world trailers from that point of view), but, that’s probably just wishful thinking…

I feel really sad for all the creatures that have settled in LA and started to call it home. There’s a blue hylek near the bank who’s just happy to have a new place to live. Aw.

That Skritt Trader in the BLTC.

Sewer skritt is and always will be my favorite NPC. If I have to stand idle in LA anywhere, it is always within earshot of him. If we lose him forever, I don’t know what I’ll do.

Then down near the gates to the mists the following conversation is heard:

Sylvari: We’ve found a suitable opponent for your guild try out.
Norn: Are you sure one opponent will be enough, I wouldn’t want it to be too easy.
Sylvari: Oh, one will be enough, given it’s the dragon Scarlet just raised!
