What happens after it
LA isn’t my AFK place, it’s the only thing that still makes this game a part of GW lore.
remove LA, remove the reason on calling this game GW2.
grind wars
Anet’s sandbox
no fun online

Past lore isn’t/shouldn’t be removed by events. It isn’t like cause WWII happened WWI didn’t.

there are still plenty of traces of WW1 even now, GW2 is pretty much losing all traces of GW.
it’s as if Anet wants nothing to do with the original GW so they destroy every single piece of history GW has, even if it means to destroy the very last connection of GW to GW2.
LA isn’t even close to the last connection between the games. Almost every settlement between there and Divinity’s Reach was in GW1, and that’s just scratching the surface.
Ahhh the forums. I can always count on its ever-positive comments to brighten up my day. To answer the OP’s question, I’d say Scarlet may or may not survive this next encounter. If she does, we’ll kill her in a new zone next patch. If she does, we’ll see the creature behind her madness, and the last patch will set the stage for Season 2.
