Same as title – wasn’t sure if it was 29 or 30.

You are leveled to 80 while inside, but your gear isn’t. I played with a level 21 character just fine by sticking to ranged and staying with the group.

I went in with a level 24 yesterday, so I don’t think there is a level restriction.

Like Sankofa said though, even though you scale up to level 80, your weapons don’t.. You probably won’t be getting a lot of kills, but you should be able to get credit for most of the events (and thus, level the character) pretty easily though.

I was in at lvl 17, scaled to 80. I seemed to do fine, lots of bags and goodies.

Your gear is actually scaled along with your level, so it matters that your gear is up to date. If you’re a level 30 wearing lv 30 blues, it’ll be as if you’re wearing lv 80 blues, but if you’re only wearing lv 20 blues you’ll be significantly underpowered.

As long as your gear is up to date you should be fine, you’ll just be lacking trait points that level 80 characters have.

well no.

I leveled my 28 guardian to lvl 80 melee only. used a mixture of knights armor and zerker
all your stats will be pushed up to lvl 80.

however your gear lvl has to be as close as possible to your char lvl.
if your char is lvl 45 and your gear is lvl 30, you’ll end up with a power stat about 1500 instead of 2200. (if you chose power gear. approx values)

put in greens and then three stat blues as soon as available for your level.
upgrade the gear as soon you can or maybe all 5 levels.

the minor runes are cheap. use them to up your power. no two runes have to be the same.
