Share the frame per second during zerging in LA Living Story.
My setup:
50 Mbits wired connection. Speedtest (52 Mbits download, 15 Mbits upload)
AMD 8350 8 cores OC’ed to 4.8 GHz
AMD 7970 GHz Edition OC’ed to 1.2 GHz (latest driver 14.x)
Windows 7 64-bit
8GB 1600 RAM
…and I am getting 8-12 fps…sometimes when less mobs, I get around 15 fps if I am lucky…If I lower the settings all the way to performance mode then I get around 22 fps.
In comparision I get around 75-80 fps in Battlefield 4 on ultra.
In thief I get around 50-65 fps on ultra.
In Metra Last night I am getting 40-50 fps on ultra,
In Witcher 2 (uber disabled) I get 50-60 fps on ultra.

i7 4770k @ 4.7ghz
AMD 7870 hawk (14.x driver)
Windows 7 64 bit (all updates)
8GB 2400mhz ram
I use v sync, so a steady 60 fps, but in large battles my fps drops to the low 20’s. it still feels pretty fluid though. here is my speed test:

If you’re in the UK on a BT connection it could be a throttling issue. There’s a thread about it in tech support.

I have all my settings all the way up and there is no difference between normal play a zerg play anywhere on any map for me. It is always good.

Yea I noticed improvement too. From usual 5-6 fps which I get normaly at awesome zerg (11111) events, I am now enjoying amazing 7-9 fps. It seems that configuration has very little to do with it, since you only have few fps more than me with x4 stronger pc.
Oh well if they keep good work with optimizing game, perhaps in few years we will be able to reach skyhigh fps numbers like 16-20 fps!!!!

I play on a MSI GS70 and it feels pretty fluid, so probably over 20fps but I don’t have my fps meter active so I’m not 100% sure.
It probably is a nightmare for low end machines though

I don’t drop below 60fps unless the zergs get absolutely silly. Even then, it’s never below 30. You know, adaptive V-sync and all. Specs are in my signature.
Connections speeds are 58down/12up.

I don’t have a problem with FPS, I’m in LA right now and getting about 60-71.
My problem is skill lag. Everything else is running normally but my skills and F actions take about 30 seconds to a minute to activate. By which point they’re completely useless because the fight is over.

i got always 30+ FPS, playing with a 6 years old computer… way worst than yours.
5 Mbits wired connection.
IntelCore2 Q6600 4 cores 2.40Ghz
GT440 graphic card, 1GB
Windows 7 64-bit
3GB DDR2 RAM
Why i am getting no troubles? no idea, might be because i play always in very low graphics, i play in windowed mode, i customize my graphic card to priorize performing over quality in both games and computer… and it never works beyond the 60% of it’s capabilities even in zerking areas.
I do that since i burned out my previous graphic card and seriously, playing with less graphics but faster is A-W-E-S-O-M-E. It’s true that i can only see players if they are 10meters close to me in zergs, main reason of why i got always show name of players enabled, but that’s a minor problem since you can always see all enemies and attack them instead of being frozen in shiny colours.
I also got no skills delay or skill lag, just because i make sure i am not using random optional software that can eat up my computer or internet resources. As example, i never use an antivirus. I’ve been in the computers industry for over 20 years and although i was scared of viruses at the beggining, there has been 8 years since i got infected last time, and i fixed it myself; now you can even google how with your phone. Now it’s way too easier to not get it, just by clicking only on what you know it’s true and running an antivirus test each 60 days. But not having an antivirus protecting you in real time makes your computer goes 200% faster, usually, since they eat up way too mane resources validating every single file of the thousands that you use while playing.
Edit
The main problems in computers performance it’s almost 90% of the times overheating. Pick up a screw removing tool (how is this called in english? xD) and make sure your proccesor and graphic card fans have no dirt. Once that’s cleaned, plug in everything as it was and run a few tests. You’ll probably see an increase on performance. This is optional but it improves your computer’s life a lot. I’ve been 6 years with this computer and i only spent 100€ so far. Numbers don’t lie.

I stay away from the zerg fights. The only ones I’m ever in are when you’re fighting to get in to Lion’s Arch so I guess around 10-12 fps.
